What do we do?
This is an initial one week (five full days) practical course covering:
The level 2 Certificate is awarded through submission of a completed portfolio. It is your responsibility to complete the assignments and have the portfolio signed off by the course tutors.
The portfolio involves producing evidence of your knowledge and skills through a series of five short videos.
The course is run in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Isle of Wight where we use our mobile nature therapy workshop as a base.
Following completion of the taught course you will be expected to do 12 hours voluntary work at a place of your choosing.
You will then take part in an assessment weekend that involves one night camping out to complete your award.
You will need to provide your own food for lunch and refreshments each day as well as suitable clothing such as water proofs and strong walking boots. A kit list will be provided.
